It is designed to address the issue of thermal runaway propagation in energy storage systems. The standard comprehensively assesses the risk of thermal runaway propagation, gas release characteristics, and system fire prevention capabilities through four levels of testing (cell, module, unit, and installation levels). -

Explosion test of energy storage containerIntroduce H2 and O2 into the energy storage cabin at a certain ratio and release them from multiple preset points inside, ensuring that the cabin is filled with a mixture of H2/O2 gas. Ignite the combustible gas with an external igniter to trigger a gas explosion. Record whether the cabin structure deforms, whether the explosion venting facilities operate normally, and collect real-time data on process temperature, pressure, and visual observations. This is to verify the ability of the energy storage system to maintain safety and functionality under extreme conditions.
